And to all that came and watched us play on Friday 6 Sept 2013 at The Gov and Saturday 7 Sept 2013 at Fowlers Live, Thank You.

We rehearsed hard for those shows. If we don’t rehearse, we get sloppy, of course. We weren’t sloppy, so it paid off. Our fans are the best in the world. I especially loved the cake one couple bought along…thank you! We played, less refined, more rock? Loose, though powerful, I don’t know, but it felt good.

At the Gov the atmosphere was like “anticipatory”, or “celebratory”…”charged”, somehow the feeling very up. Fear and Loathing played brilliantly, in their element. I hope they get more people to their next shows as a result of playing.

Abbotts win I think soured the Sat evening…really, I think it did. The vibe was…restless…a homily to a better life perhaps…a tedious scripture, an ongoing saga? I don’t know, but it felt like people were bummed out…just the same, I noticed that though it was a fairly still crowd that some people were actually getting into the music.

Others, were just listening…standing there, which is alright too…Kim said I should be glad sometimes I can’t see well off stage…especially as he described previous gigs being able to see right out into the rear bar and watch people sip a beer while we were playing, others leaving for the night out the doors…I cracked up laughing hearing that…I’m glad I can’t see that far.

But, THANKS, to all who attended. We appreciate the support always. I hope we delivered to your expectations.
